A Year in Photo - Day 148

Today I was able to participate in something that I didn't think I would ever be able to do; today the pigs at the farm were butchered. I won't go into too much detail but it was very humane. The family learned to butcher their own meat, savings them hundreds and allowing them to portion it for their family's needs. It was an interesting experience and I am glad to be able to learn from everyone.
